Running 55k for Cancer Research

Donation protected
Last year, I lost my best friend and brother, Pawel, to cancer.

His death changed everything. It had a ripple effect across my life, his family, and the people who loved him. Cancer does not only take the person diagnosed. It tears through families, friendships, plans, and futures. It turns hope into fear, and leaves those who stay behind carrying a grief that is hard to put into words.

I cannot change what happened to Pawel. I cannot take away the pain of losing him, or the pain carried by everyone who loved him. I also cannot forget another friend we lost in the aftermath, unable to carry the weight of that grief. But I can do something in Pawel’s memory.

In June, I will be running a 55k ultra in the Dolomites to raise £300 for Cancer Research.

Anyone who knows me knows I am not a runner. But over the past few months, running has become a way for me to cope, reflect, and keep moving forward. I still do not know if I will finish all 55k, but I will give it everything I have. I am running with Pawel in my heart, and with the hope that more research means fewer people hearing they only have months to live, and fewer families having to experience this kind of loss.

If you are able to donate, thank you. Every contribution matters.
