For anyone who may not know Azaylia’s story - she was a beautiful, brave little girl who sadly lost her battle with cancer.

Her strength touched millions, and in her honour, her family created The Azaylia Foundation to support children in the UK fighting cancer and to help fund access to treatments not always available on the NHS, while also supporting research for new treatments here in the uk.

On the day I’ll be running 50k. For me, this is a challenge and choice I’ve chosen - but for the Children and families supported by The Azaylia Foundation, this fight isn’t a choice. Every donation, no matter how small makes a difference.

I’ve set a fundraising target of £500, in line with the race organisers’ charity goal, and it would be incredible to reach it, or even exceed it.

It won’t be easy, but it will be worth every step if it helps even one family.
