Daniel nació en 1988. Fue un jóven atlético y positivo. Tan solo a sus 15 años fue diagnosticado con cáncer. Fue ingresado en el departamento de oncología pediátrica del Hospital Nacional de Niños en Costa Rica. Como adolescente, se dio cuenta de que las necesidades de los pacientes adolescentes con cáncer en una sala de cáncer infantil no se cubrían por completo. Su sueño era crear un hospital para pacientes adolescentes que ya no eran niños pero no adultos aún. Daniel nos dejó cuando tenía 19 años, pero su sueño sigue vivo.
El Proyecto Daniel, que ha ayudado a más de 1,000 pacientes adolescentes a combatir el cáncer, lleva su sueño y legado. Sus necesidades son grandes y esta lucha es de alto costo.

El 11 de julio de 2020, me gustaría correr hasta 50 kilómetros para honrar el sueño de Daniel. Mi objetivo es recaudar 500 euros para el Proyecto Daniel para ayudar a un niño que padece cáncer con medicamentos y alimentos esenciales.
Solicito su apoyo patrocinando uno o más de mis kilómetros. Por cada kilómetro que correré ese día, una donación de 10 euros.
Documentaré mi carrera y dedicaré cada kilómetro a Proyecto Daniel y a ustedes como patrocinadores. El 100% de sus donaciones van al Proyecto Daniel, los costos de transacción en "GoFundMe", y los gastos del evento corren a cargo de CleanPro El Nicoyano.

Daniel wurde 1988 geboren. Er war ein athletischer und positiver 15-jähriger, als bei ihm Krebs diagnostiziert wurde. Er wurde in die pädiatrische Onkologie des Nationalen Kinderkrankenhauses in Costa Rica aufgenommen. Als Teenager bemerkte er, dass die Bedürfnisse jugendlicher Krebspatienten in einer Krebsstation für Kinder nicht vollständig erfüllt wurden. Es war sein Traum, ein Krankenhaus für jugendliche Patienten zu schaffen, die keine Kinder mehr waren, aber auch noch keine Erwachsenen. Daniel starb, als er 19 Jahre alt war, aber sein Traum lebt weiter.
Sein Traum und sein Erbe trägt das Proyecto Daniel, welches mehr als 1000 jugendlichen Patienten im Kampf gegen Krebs geholfen hat. Ihre Bedürfnisse sind groß und dieser Kampf ist nicht billig.
Deshalb brauche ich Eure Hilfe!
Am 11. Juli 2020 möchte ich bis zu 50 Kilometer laufen, um Daniels Traum zu ehren. Mein Ziel ist es, 500 Euro für das Proyecto Daniel zu sammeln, um einem an Krebs erkrankten Kind mit lebensnotwendigen Medikamenten und Lebensmitteln zu helfen.
Ich bitte euch, mich dabei zu unterstützen, indem ihr einen oder mehrere meiner Kilometer sponsert. Für jeden Kilometer, den ich laufe, bitte ich um eine Spende von 10 Euro.

Daniel was born in 1988. He was an athletic and positive 15-year-old when he was diagnosed with cancer. He was admitted to the pediatric oncology unit of the National Children's Hospital in Costa Rica. As a teenager, he noticed that the needs of adolescent cancer patients in a children's cancer ward were not fully met. It was his dream to create a hospital for adolescent patients who were no longer children but also not adults. Daniel died when he was 19, but his dream lives on.
Proyecto Daniel, which has helped more than 1,000 adolescent patients fight cancer, bears his dream and legacy. Your needs are great and this struggle is not cheap.
That's why I need your help!
On July 11, 2020, I will run up to 50 kilometers to honor Daniel's dream. My goal is to collect €500 for the Proyecto Daniel to help Proyecto Daniel buy essential medicines and food.
I ask you to support me by sponsoring one or more of my kilometers. For every kilometer I run, I ask for a donation of 10 euros.
