Running 340 Miles to Fight for Mental Health

Ten years ago, I hit rock bottom. I was battling depression, struggling to believe I was worth fighting for, and I became one of the 1.6 million people who attempted suicide that year. But I made it through. I fought to rebuild my life—losing 120 lbs, becoming a coach, and dedicating myself to helping others find their own strength.

Now, I’m taking on The Speed Project: Solo—a 340-mile race from Santa Monica to Las Vegas. But this isn’t just about the run. It’s about mental health, resilience, and proving that we are all capable of more than we think. I’m documenting this journey to share the real, unfiltered struggles and triumphs—so that someone out there fighting their own battle knows they’re not alone.

This trip will cost between $10,000 - $15,000, covering race logistics, crew support, and the production of a documentary that will inspire others and support NAMI (the National Alliance on Mental Illness). Our goal is to enter the film into festivals to reach even more people and spark real conversations about mental health.
