Tahoe 200 Ultra Run for Nuzzles & Co

We, Cobus and Caitie are two passionate endurance trail runners and animal lovers who are taking on the Tahoe 200 Ultra run, circumventing beautiful Lake Tahoe, to support a cause close to our hearts—Nuzzles & Co, our local no-kill animal shelter. Our journey with Nuzzles & Co began when we adopted our two beloved rescue cats and since then we've seen and experienced firsthand the incredible work this organization does for animals in need.

Spring is a busy time at Nuzzles & Co with countless kittens and puppies being born and needing extra care. The shelter works tirelessly to provide food, warmth and love to every animal that comes through their doors. We want to help ensure that each fur baby gets the best possible life and that's why we're dedicating our Tahoe 200 Ultra run to raising funds for their care.

The Tahoe 200 Ultra Run consists of 200 miles of the most beautiful and inspirational wilderness trails. For us, it is a pilgrimage towards improving the lives of homeless animals and pushing back against animal cruelty. Every animal deserves to be loved, cared for, safe and happy. We will be contemplating and meditating on this concept every footstep of the 200-mile journey and we would be honored to share this special experience with anyone willing to donate to this cause, in whatever form or contribution.
