Hi, My name is Luca, I am 16 years old and I love sport - especially running and football. I will be running 150 kilometres in a week during the 2025 summer half term to raise money for the charity : Football for Humanity. Football for Humanity educates, empowers and protects children facing the threat of abuse, exploitation and violence. Children and communities who are affected by armed conflict, natural disaster and extreme poverty are helped by the charity in many ways. Football for Humanity creates football pitches in areas of poverty as well as sustainable water solutions and education opportunities for children who need it most. I have chosen this charity as I understand the impact that football can have on people’s lives and the importance of sport in communities across the world.
