This is a very humbling position to be in yet again. Michael was born with atypical/complex bilateral clubfoot and has been receiving ongoing treatment since he was two weeks old. He has seen numerous doctors out of state who have attempted treating the complexity of his case. We have seen wonderful doctors, and some doctors who have actually furthered the complications he is having. Michael was recently approved for tendon transplants and will be beginning treatment Thursday November 5th in Utah with ongoing procedures until January 18th. Unfortunately, due to the spike in Utah's covid cases, the housing typically provided for families has been shut down. Additionally, we are going to be moving hospitals due to the covid cases and his first two treatments will only be partially covered by his insurance. These two last minute surprises on top of not being able to work for the next 8 weeks have caused an overwhelming financial load. Again, it is beyond humbling asking for help, but any amount is truly so helpful. I know this is a hard time for many with the unprecedented times our society is facing. Prayers and thoughts of healing for Michael mean the world to us. Thank you to all of those who have remembered Michael along the way and have had him in your thoughts. <3
