At the Edina Track & Field Invitational on the first Friday in May each year the Edina High School Track & Field teams conduct an event in conjunction with the Edina Track & Field Invitational to raise awareness of those who have or are struggling with cancer. In an effort to provide funds for research, prevention, and treatment for Minnesota’s cancer community we are asking each team and individuals attending the meet to donate funds to the Randy Shaver Cancer Research & Community Fund. During the meet volunteers will also be collecting donations to add to the grand total. Donations will be made to the Randy Shaver Cancer Research & Community Fund in hopes of enhancing the lives of Minnesota’s cancer community by providing aid and assistance.
