Three months ago I lost my friend Paul suddenly in a tragic accident. We met working in the fashion industry; he had a contagious passion about everything he did. Many called him a "modern day superman". Yet he was grounded, humble and kind. 

Paul was an avid athlete and we became running partners. We ran our first Hamptons half together in 2012. You learn a lot about a person when you run with them. I will forever cherish our talks and the strength he instilled in me over the years. 

Paul's friends have banded together in an effort to raise money for his family. A group of us will be running the Hamptons Half Marathon on September 26 in honor of his memory. Then I will be running the NYC Full.  Any donation would be greatly appreciated. Paul's family has pledged to donate the $ raised to a children's charity in his name
