Have you heard of Father Douglas Al-Bazi, once a priest in charge of a refugee camp near Erbil  in Iraq and tortured by Islamists?
Last May, he lectured  in McLean, VA, on the  fate of Iraqi Christians. His moving testimony sounded like a call to all "men of good will" to help them out,  no matter where we are, how we can do it.
As I signed up for the Washington Marathon (30rd of October) and thought it would be a fantastic opportunity to raise funds for  them, I'd like to invite you 
... to help me hitting  $3000.
Will you join the team so that we could provide a medical package (assistance, medical care) to several dozens displaced Christians in northern Iraq?

Father Al-Bazi's Charity.
We would thus provide concrete solidarity to the Iraqi Christians and help them staying in the country they love, free to practice their faith.
