I ran my first Marathon in New York in 2017 for my uncle Javier. He passed away a few weeks later from cancer. He was - and still is - one of my greatest sources of inspiration. I remember him every time I run.

I promised myself I would run the 6 biggest Marathons for him, and fundraise in each of them for a charity. I have run 5 so far:

New York 2017

Chicago 2018

Berlin 2019

London 2021

Tokyo 2023

And finally this year I’ll be running my 6th and final Major Marathon on April 15th in Boston.

This year I have not been able to train as much as previous years as I only had 8 weeks to prepare for the race. But I am determined to give it my best finish in good shape to celebrate with all of you.

The funds will be used to support two causes close to my heart and that of my family:

• Cancer: By funding cancer research programs via Cris Cancer (https://criscancer.org/) or RoberContraElCancer

• Children: Wether disabilities or education, we would love to help children in need and their families. We will do it via Fundación Cerro Verde (https://www.fundacioncerroverde.org/) that supports children in Honduras.

Any contribution you would like to make, large or small, will go a long way to support these causes!
