Hi, my name is Jarod and I will be running my first marathon on Oct. 19. My goal is to raise money for Kids Sports! I will be donating 100% of the proceeds towards the Danbury Westerners Hockey Program. For my first race, I hope to raise $2,500 for them. I believe sports are super important in a kid’s childhood and development as a person, and I think it’s a shame that kids miss out due to cost, regardless of what sport. As I continue to do more races, I hope to expand to as many sports as I can.
