Run With Julius
Tax deductible
Join former boy soldier and Olympic runner Julius Achon in supporting his community in Northern Uganda by running the Portland Marathon or Half-Marathon on October 6, 2019.*
Together we will raise over $50,000 -- enough to staff our health clinic, treat illnesses, deliver babies, and conduct outreach to the local population for nearly a year.
Members of Team AUCF will...
-Receive monthly training advice videos from Julius
-Be invited to our post-race celebration
-Have the opportunity actually to run with Julius, as he will visit the U.S. and run the Portland Half Marathon with us!
Ready to join us? Here's all you need to do:
1. If you missed it, click on the link at the top of the first page that you opened to -- the one saying Julius wants you to join our team.
2. Go to the Portland Marathon Website and register for the marathon or the half marathon.
3. Spread the word! Use the GoFundMe tools -- email and social media -- to invite your friends to join our, or to donate by clicking
4. Start training!
Once you've joined our team, we'll send you occasional emails about progress toward our goal.
