FENS – the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies is the main organisation for neuroscience in Europe based in Brussels, Belgium. It represents a community of 44 national and single-discipline neuroscience societies across 33 European countries and more than 22,000 member scientists.

The FENS mission is to support and promote neuroscience research in Europe and beyond across four main impact areas: advancing neuroscience research; facilitating knowledge exchange; empowering community; and investing in the future. In addition, FENS emphasises the importance of its core values – credibility, inclusivity, and sustainability – in all its activities, helping to ensure they are representative of the diverse neuroscience community and reinforcing responsible research practices.

FENS is excited to take part in the Trek Antwerp run (10K, half marathon, marathon) on Sunday, 18 October 2026, with a dedicated FENS team* running in support of FENS activities. The initiative will help raise funds to support FENS Regional Meeting travel grants and other FENS programmes. Thank you for your support!
