Hi! My name is Max, and I’m 17 years old.

My dream is to run across the entire country of Tajikistan as part of The Great Silk Run.

Unfortunately, my biggest challenge is funding. I’m currently a high-school student, combining sports studies with general academics. I also work as a scout leader, so having a full-time job on the side isn’t possible. The total cost of the trip is around 72,000–73,000 NOK. I'll do my best to cover about 20,000 NOK myself through part-time work.

This adventure means more to me than just running. I want to dedicate my run to two of my closest friends, who are both battling cancer. If I could, I would be running alongside them, but since they can’t, I’ll run for them. Because of that, all profit from this fundraising will be donated to the Norwegian Children Cancer Society (barnekreftforeningen).

Please help me make this dream come true — not just for me, but for my friends and everyone fighting cancer.
