Run To Save The Sharks

Run To Save The Sharks is not just a fundraiser. Our goal is to spread the message that sharks are not monsters that should be feared, rather they are Apex Predators that help keep the marine ecosystem balanced. Adverse shark interactions with humans are few, and yet over 100 million sharks are killed each year due to human activity. If you look at the rapid decline in shark populations, estimated at upwards of 70% since 1970, the outlook is grim for the remaining shark population. Remember- the health of our oceans, and inevitably our planet, depends on their existence. Let's do something about it.
