Hey, I’m George, and in September I’m running a 5k around Thorpe Park. Having previously run the London Marathon in 2018 and the London Landmarks Half Marathon in 2024 I am hoping this 5k around Thorpe Park will be easier, however training has already commenced!

I want to use this run as an opportunity to raise money for The Kingfisher Day Centre in Laverstoke, where my mother in law attended and loved prior to becoming too poorly. The work they do is absolutely vital to people who have dementia and provides desperately needed respite to those who care for them.

My mother in law absolutely adored going, she loved the staff and all the wonderful activities. I have no set amount in mind that I would like to donate to them, anything at all is welcome and the benefits to donating to them are huge.
