Run Time Error is a short film being made for MA Film at the University of South Wales.

26-year old Erika Livingstone is on the internet every night, fully aware that she’s putting her life at risk every time she goes online.

The year is 2042, and Erika is a Datascaper, a career criminal hacker secretly surfing the web and distributing information in a society where accessing the internet is criminalized.

However, Erika is forced to make a critical choice when a mysterious man contacts her, and pays her extravagantly to locate a seemingly ordinary file from the Deep Web. Dare she listen to the man that’s adamant that he can change the world?

Evading both the authorities and a notorious hacktivist group, Erika finds herself at the center of a techno-conspiracy featuring intrigue, betrayal, and copious amounts of hacking."
