26 year old RAINIE JADE THOMPSON will compete in the 2019 Special Olympics World Games representing the USA being held in Dubai March 14th-21st. Rainie has both intellectual and mental health disabilities and wants to bring attention and understanding to both. She is a Special Olympics GLOBAL AMBASSADOR who does public speaking on behalf of Special Olympics.  

Rainie’s flight and lodging will be covered by the Special Olympics organization. All other expenses (training gear, special meals, family travel and lodging in Abu Dhabi, etc.) are not covered. She dreams of her family of 6 watching as she strives for gold!
