Help Us Raise £15,000 for a Breakfast Club & Music Therapy Sessions for 100 Children
Earlier this year, we travelled to Trenchtown, Jamaica to run music therapy workshops in schools across some of the country’s most underserved communities. What we found was both inspiring and heartbreaking.

We worked with children who were bright, creative, and full of potential. But many of them came to school each day on an empty stomach—relying on school lunch as their only meal of the day. That means they’re often turning up hungry, unable to focus, struggling to settle or learn.
We couldn’t just walk away knowing that.

That’s why we’ve committed to raising £15,000 to fund a year-long programme that includes a daily breakfast club and weekly music therapy workshops for 100 children.

It costs just £1 a day to feed a child — that’s £5 a week to ensure they start each school day nourished, settled, and ready to learn.

Alongside breakfast club, we’ll continue delivering music therapy and mentorship sessions, connecting UK youth mentors with the children in Jamaica through online workshops and studio collaborations. The children make music together—across continents—expressing emotions, telling their stories, and building confidence through creativity.

But the impact doesn’t stop there.

Our UK mentors, many of whom have faced challenges of their own and are now community leaders, grow in leadership, empathy, and global awareness by taking part in this work. Supporting children in Jamaica deepens their sense of identity, purpose, and connection to the history of the Windrush story which is how their parents came to the UK. It also gives them real experience in mentoring, project delivery, and cross-cultural collaboration—skills that ripple out into their communities back home.

This isn’t just about food or music. It’s about hope, healing, and standing in the gap for children who deserve better—both in Jamaica and here in the UK.

Your donation will help us launch the first phase of this vital project. Whether you can give a little or a lot, every contribution brings us closer to making sure no child starts school hungry — and every voice continues to be heard.

Please donate and share. Thank you for being part of this.
