Hi everyone. My name is Richard. Most people call me Igger! I’ve set up this Go Fund Me  page to raise money for MIND.

I have set a goal to run 7 marathons in 7 days over Christmas 2020 to give something back, to end a very difficult year for most people.

Mental health is such a taboo subject and still very difficult to talk about. I’ve had my own issues for many years and really want to help others to find away to talk about their own mental health, seek help and find the right support for them.

Mental health is non discriminatory it can affect anyone. Young or old and it’s not gender specific.

My aim is to raise money for everyone who struggles with the all consuming affects of mental health.

However I would also like to raise awareness of the taboo of male mental health issues.

As Men all to often we don’t share our concerns, mainly thinking it’s not manly to drop our guard and show our emotions. We need to stop this and find away of empowering men to openly share their fears and concerns. “It’s ok not to be ok”
