On 18th April 2025, we lost my beautiful Auntie Tracey. Tracey was truly the life and soul of every party. She had an infectious laugh, a wicked sense of humour, and always had banter for everyone she met. She had a way of bringing people together, lighting up a room with her personality and making even ordinary moments unforgettable. To know Tracey was to love her and she is deeply missed by all of us who were lucky enough to have her in our lives.
In memory of Tracey, I will be running Porthcawl 10K on the 5th July 2026 to raise money and awareness for AAFDA (Advocacy After Fatal Domestic Abuse). No family should have to face the devastating impact of losing a loved one in such tragic circumstances. By supporting this cause, we can help raise awareness, provide support to families affected by fatal domestic abuse, and honour Tracey’s memory. Any donation will make an impact, thank you in advance for your contribution. Every step of this run will be for her — for her laughter, her kindness, her spirit, and the incredible person she was. She will never be forgotten.
Tracey wasn’t just my auntie, she was someone who could make anyone smile, no matter what was going on. Her loss has left a huge hole in our family, but her memory lives on in the stories, laughter, and love she gave us all. This run is my way of keeping her memory alive and turning heartbreak into something that can help others. Run for Tracey. Remember Tracey.
