Run for the Neonatal ICU in Holles Street
Donation protected

I am running the VHI women's mini marathon on 2 June in aid of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the National Maternity Hospital, Holles street. The NMH Holles Street Foundation are hoping to raise €70,000 for a new Cardiac Echo for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. I am hoping to raise €1,000 to assist in the fundraising for the new Cardiac Echo. The Unit care for around 1,500 premature / sick babies each year from all over Ireland and any funding raised would help the amazing staff in doing so.
This is an extremely worthy cause and very close to my heart as my son, Conn, spent the first 3 and a half months of his life in the Neonatal ICU in Holles Street, after he was born prematurely at 25 weeks. Thanks to the wonderful care he received in Holles Street, he has overcome his tiny weight of 675 grams, a hole in his heart, apnea of prematurity, chronic lung disease, blood transfusions, and hernia surgery...to name a few! He is now a smiley, adventurous and fun little baby, who fills all of our hearts with so much happiness every day. Dáire and I are forever indebted to the staff in the Neonatal ICU in Holles Street.
I would greatly appreciate any donation you can make, which will go to the NMH Holles Street Foundation and help the staff in the Neonatal ICU in caring for any sick or premature babies born in Holles Street in the future.
Thank you.
Jill
