Help Us Make a Difference for Neurodiverse Children and Young Adults: Running 4 Miles Every 4 Hours for 48 Hours

This December, four dedicated staff members (Flynn O'Rourke, Katie Harding, Shaun McGoran, Theo Vaughan) are taking on an incredible physical challenge to raise funds for a cause close to our hearts. From December 21st to December 23rd, we will be running 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours straight—48 miles (78km) in total! We're pushing ourselves to the limit to raise awareness and much-needed funds for neurodiverse children and young adults.

Our goal is to raise money to help these children experience the *magic on the hill*—a one-of-a-kind summer where they can make lifelong memories, form bonds, and develop confidence in a supportive, inclusive environment. The funds raised will go directly toward lessening the financial burden on families, ensuring that more children can attend camp and participate in these life-changing experiences. Camp owner Shep Baum will personally match every dollar/pound donated.

The money will support the development and expansion of the incredible programs already taking place at the camp. These programs are designed to offer tailored activities that allow each child to shine, grow, and bond with others in a safe, understanding environment.

In addition, the money raised will also support the development of the Independence Program—a 9-month program designed for young adults to learn vital life skills and build independence. This program helps participants gain the tools they need to navigate daily life, from managing finances to developing social and employment skills. It’s a transformative opportunity for these young adults to gain confidence and prepare for a future filled with possibilities.

How You Can Help:

1. Donate – Every donation makes a difference and helps us reach our goal. Your contribution will directly impact the children and young adults who need it most.
2. Share – Spread the word to your friends, family, and social networks to help us reach as many people as possible.
3. Support Us – Follow our journey and cheer us on as we take on this challenging feat. Your encouragement and support mean everything to us!

Together, we can help provide neurodiverse children and young adults with the opportunities they deserve to grow, learn, and thrive. Thank you for your generosity and support!
