Nearly three years of continuous violence have turned Sudan into one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world, with millions in urgent need of food, healthcare, and basic support.

I’m taking part in Run for Sudan, a campaign led by the Sudanese Society at the University of Southampton and Nile Active. This initiative brings together runners and supporters from across the university and the wider community to raise awareness and funds for Sudan.

I’ll be running as part of this effort, using this opportunity to support those affected by the crisis. All donations will go towards essential humanitarian aid and community support through Sadagaat, a trusted charity with over 15 years of impact across food, health, water, and education.

Sadagaat Charity organisation is a registered charity of the Voluntary and Humanitarian Action and Commission, which has been active in assisting vulnerable groups for more than 15 years, during which many successful projects, whether seasonal or ongoing, have been implemented through the support of philanthropists from within and outside Sudan.

Under 4 Divisions : Feeding, Health, Wash, and Education. The implementation of these projects is by an integrated administrative body, starting with membership in the Sadagaat community and ending with an executive unit that directly supervises daily activities. The small executive body that implements the projects depends on: Administrative competence in coordination and scientific methodology.
