More information about SUDC UK: SUDC UK is a charity dedicated to raising awareness, funding research and bringing together families affected by Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood, SUDC.
This is a charity I had never heard of myself until I sadly lost my Son Rogan to SUDC back in 2019.
Rogan was born in 2017 along with his identical twin brother Rico & Sister Amiya (Triplets). Life with triplets was what you could say very busy but it soon become my new normal and I was loving and appreciating every minute being there mum, they was all thriving and becoming such little characters each with their own personality. Rogan was a loving little boy who was always smiling and laughing.
Fast forward to 19 months, the triplets all went to bed as usual and they all had a snotty nose and a little cough, so they had calpol and settled well around 7 pm as they usually would. They all now slept through the night so this was normal for me but what I noticed the next morning wasn’t. After entering the boys room I noticed something wasn’t right, Rico was really crying and screaming looking over at his brothers cot who I thought appeared to me still sleeping. I headed over to Rogans cot, he was laying face down but he did usually sleep on his front, as I picked him up and turned him over I knew something was wrong, he was very cold and stiff and his face was blue! I knew at this point he was dead and my heart sank. The ambulance came and we were rushed to hospital where they pronounced him dead, my whole world crushed around me. After the postmortem results showed Rogan had passed away from SUDC.
So myself his mum, and his brother Rico, Sister Amiya and other family members and Friends are doing an inflatable fun run on Saturday 18 th April 2026 in Derby. Please support us on this by donating or sharing this with others so we can raise as much money and awareness for SUDC as possible and help my little angel
boys memory to live on.
