RUN FOR RAFI

Hi everyone!

I will be dusting of my running shoes and running again this year for ‘Rafi’s Recovery’.

If you have been watching Rafi’s progress over the last year, you will see the money that has already been raised for this extraordinary young man is going to a great cause.

His family have been amazing turning up to the boot sale week in, week out, wind, rain or shine to keep the money coming in for Rafi’s ongoing treatment and therapies.

To all the buyers and sellers that have helped Rafi with donations at the boot sale, I just want to say thank you, the car boot has been a great community hub helping to raise awareness and bring people together to help Rafi and his family.

Rafi has astounded everyone with his improvement and Bracknell really did pull together in the DIY SOS big build and now it’s time for another push so Rafi can keep going with his treatments.

Rafi’s family is also setting up a birthday and DIY SOS celebration fundraiser on Sunday the 7th of September and I’m determined to help raise as much money for them to go towards the next stage of he’s recovery.

There really is something special about this young man. When I first had the privilege of meeting Rafi he was not long out of hospital, well, what a difference a year has made.

Rafi has had so many walls put in front of him but he does not let anything stop him. He’s also saved lives and given hope to so many other people in the same position showing there is a way back to recovery.

I will be running 1 half and 3 marathons in the space of a month and I’m hoping to raise a £2000.

Any donation amount will help, no matter how small. I know times are hard and the cost of living is affecting everyone at the moment.
