Run for Raffi
Donation protected
On Saturday 24 May, Jamie is taking on the incredible challenge of running an Ultra Marathon from London to Brighton — 100km of grit, sweat and heart — all in honour of a very special little boy: Raffi.
At just 3 years old, Raffi has been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive brain cancer called large cell anaplastic medulloblastoma. His treatment journey is long and intense — involving major surgery, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy. Through it all, Raffi continues to show unbelievable bravery and courage beyond his years.
But as you can imagine, this diagnosis has turned life upside down for the Starkowitz family. Raffi’s parents will need to take time off work to care for him, support him through countless hospital appointments, and simply be by his side — where every parent deserves to be during such a fight.
Jamie is calling this run ‘Run for Raffi’, and he’s asking for your help. Every penny raised will go directly to Raffi’s family to help ease the financial burden of travel to and from Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), time off work, medical expenses, and day-to-day living costs during this incredibly difficult time. Funds will also help with the cost of special medical accessories Raffi may need, and support activities for Raffi and his sisters, Ella and Talya, to keep their spirits up along the way.
Whether it’s £5 or £50, your support will make a real difference to a family facing the unimaginable and let them focus on what matters most: helping Raffi get through this.
Let’s help carry some of this weight for them — one step, one donation, and one act of kindness at a time.
Thank you for supporting Run for Raffi.
