Run for Parkinson’s

In September 2023, Nia’s Mum was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, a condition that has deeply impacted her everyday life in ways we could never have imagined. Despite this, she faces every challenge with incredible strength and resilience, just like the millions of others living with Parkinson’s across the UK and Australia.

Parkinson’s is a progressive neurological disorder with no known cure. It affects movement, coordination, and often mental health, with symptoms such as tremors, stiffness, and fatigue. Many people with Parkinson’s rely on strong medications to manage their symptoms, but these often come with challenging side effects, making their fight even harder.

To support Nia’s Mum and others battling this condition, we have dedicated 2025 to raising funds and awareness for Parkinson’s. We’ll be running three marathons across Australia and hosting community fundraisers throughout the year to support two amazing charities: Parkinson’s UK and Shake It Up for Parkinson’s. The funds raised will be split equally between these organisations, helping to drive vital research and provide essential support for those affected by Parkinson’s.
