I am doing #ChicagoMarathon on October 8, 2023. This is my first marathon. My theme of this marathon is “Run for our daughters”. The goal is to raise a year tuition for 100 students in different parts of Nepal.

Ten years ago, my mother passed away in an accident while coming back from a social function. All her life she worked for women's empowerment where she helped young girls read and write, voiced on gender inequality, worked on women's health and provided support for the rural finance support system. She was a woman with basic education and social willpower, so basically, she was everything in my village.

The goal of my marathon is to raise school tuition for a year for 100 girls in grade 12 in different parts of Nepal, whose parents struggle to send them to school. By helping them to finish high school and empowering them to go to universities and we all together can produce stronger and smarter daughters in our society.

The estimated annual admission fee, tuition fee and exam fee for grade 12 in a Nepalese Government School is $120. Please help me to educate our daughters by donating money for their school’s year tuition. I will publish a book with the list of students receiving tuition from your donation. 100% of the fund raised will go to the students, I will take care of the miscellaneous cost.
