RUN FOR JOHN - Station to Station
Donation protected
‘Station 2 Station - Run for John’ is back for its third year.
On Saturday March 30th 2024, we will be leaving Waltons RNLI station at 10am to run 13 miles on roads, across the country side and along the prom all the way to Harwich RNLI station.
Why station to station?
The idea came about when myself and my nephew decided we wanted to honour the memory of special RNLI volunteer, John Teatheredge.
John served with the RNLI for over 43 years until he sadly passed away on Boxing Day 2020. The RNLI was his family and he devoted his life to saving lives at sea.
This year marks 200 years of the lifeboat. We would like to raise enough money to purchase something in his memory this year.
This could be…or…but it depends on how much we raise. This is where you come in - in the next coming months we hope we can raise an amount that will make a real difference to the Harwich RNLI and help them with their important work.
