We’re hosting a memorial 5K on September 27 in Boulder, Colorado to honor the lives of our fraternity brothers and close friends, Jack Nelson and Jeremiah Park, who passed away in the fall of 2024.

This event, Run for Jack and Jeremiah: Memorial 5K, is a chance to come together, friends, family, teammates, and anyone touched by their lives, to run, remember, and celebrate the joy they brought into the world.

This GoFundMe gives those who can’t attend the 5K an opportunity to support the causes chosen by Jack’s and Jeremiah’s families, as well as the organizing of the event.

The causes we are honoring:

Jack Nelson’s family has chosen to support the "Honoring Soren and Jack: Forever Lighting Up the Game" fund through Oakland Lacrosse. Jack and his teammate Soren Dixon were passionate players and coaches who gave back to their community through the sport they loved. This fund continues their legacy by supporting youth lacrosse and growing the game in their honor.

Jeremiah Park’s family directed us to the Jeremiah Park Memorial Fund at CenterPeace, a nonprofit supporting LGBTQ+ youth and young adults seeking belonging and spiritual care. Jeremiah was a bright, grounding presence who made everyone feel safe and seen. This fund will carry forward his spirit of love and inclusion.
