The Heroes Project is a veteran centric organization whose mission is not centered in pity but instead getting veterans back to a place that they recognize; one of empowerment and risk. It is my intention to run 205 miles around Lake Tahoe, climbing and descending over 70,000 ft of elevation gain/loss simply because other veterans have afforded me the ability to do so. It is my hope that you will join me in putting a little purpose behind my inevitable pain! T.H.P. put the first wounded veteran on top of Mt. Everest among many other things. It’ll be humbling to play a tiny role in their awesome mission. I’m hoping to raise a minimum of $10 per painstaking mile!
