This GoFundMe was created to manage the donations for On the Run for Hedda which will be held at 4pm on 3/12/17 at Central Park in Morris Plains. All proceeds from the run will go to help Hedda Sivertsson. The suggested donation is $10 per runner/walker. We expect a large turnout so please register through the GoFundMe page in advance as opposed to paying on race day. Also include the # of participants in your comment.

Hedda's Story:
Beautiful Hedda was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma (brain cancer) in September 2015 at age 12. After brain surgery and a 55 week radiation and chemo treatment plan, Hedda entered a brief remission only to find out weeks later that she had a recurrence of the tumor and would have to face another brain surgery and more treatments. She recently spent both her 14th birthday and Christmas in the hospital, all the while brightening the days of the nurses, docs and hospital staff and bringing laughter to her visiting family and friends. Hedda has touched so many of our hearts and inspired all who know her with her courage and strength throughout her battle with cancer.
As she faces this second chapter of her illness, there are new challenges every day. So many of you have been asking "How can I help?" Here's how - Contribute to Hedda's GoFundMe. All proceeds will go to Hedda to help make her days brighter, her dreams come true, and above all to help her family to be able to do what means the most to them - be together - as they fight this battle.
One of Hedda's dreams for this year is to visit her family in Sweden. Your continued prayers, love and support will help her to get there!
