Run for Coral Reefs

Jean-Henri and I (Phil) will be attempting to run the Singapore round the island 200km starting on Thursday 11th 2021, in hopefully 24h.
We would like to take this opportunity to raise funds to help two foundations that aim to protect Coral Reefs : The Sulubaaï Foundation (https://sulubaai-foundation.com/) and Coral Gardeners (https://coralgardeners.org/). The full amount of this campaign will be shared between the two foundations to help them protect the coral reefs in their respective locations.
Coral reefs are playing an essential role in everything from water filtration and fish reproduction to shore line protection and erosion prevention.
The International Union for Conservation of Nature estimates that 38% of South-east Asian reefs had been destroyed, and a staggering 57% are endangered. At the current rate of destruction, 70% of the reef worldwide will be destroyed by 2050.
Despite their priceless value, coral reefs are subject to threats caused by human pressure : destructive fishing method, overfishing, pollution and climate change....
