I'm running the Patagonia International Marathon Sept 7th to raise funds for Afrikids, a nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of at-risk youth in the Arusha region of Tanzania. Backed by sponsors & donors in the US, Canada & Europe, Afrikids gives more than 120 needy children the opportunity to succeed by paying for school tuition, uniforms, lunches & classroom supplies. Run for Afrikids aims to raise money to educate even more children & transform more lives. Please help me reach the finish line!

Last year, 128 friends, family members & colleagues donated to the 1st Run for Afrikids, raising over $10,000 as I completed the Montreal Marathon. 

This year, the stakes are higher. The Patagonia Marathon is a brutal test. The weather can be nasty --cold, wet & windy-- and the climbs are cruel. I'll need all the help I can get!!

I'm aiming to raise $15,000 or more. That's a ton of money. And it will have a huge impact on the lives of these beautiful children & their families.
