We know why you are here and we LOVE YOU for it!

Someone has sent you this link to sponsor them run Dunlop and YOU have made the choice to donate. You didn't have to but here you are.

THANK YOU for making the effort to support your runner - be they a child, grandchild, parent, friend, distant relative, teacher at the school - and contribute to the Dunlop Primary School Parent's Association (DPTA).

90% of money raised will be used to fund a whole school trip in summer 2027 with 10% being donated to the 23rd Ayrshire (Dunlop) Scout Group.

Again, THANK YOU for making the effort to sponsor/donate to what we feel is a very worthwhile cause.

About the run...

Run Dunlop is back for 2026!

This popular community event is returning to the village. It will take place on Sunday 6th September 2026. This will be an inclusive family friendly event, including a 5km fun run and a 2km family fun run. If you are a new runner, then this will be an ideal first event. Equally, if you are a regular runner please come along and try and beat your Trindlegreen PB. We will have tail walkers in place, so please be assured you will not be left behind!

90% of proceeds will be given to DPTA in order to support a whole school trip for Summer 2027. The final 10% of proceeds will be donated to the 23rd Ayrshire (Dunlop) Scout Group. This was the charity chosen by Dunlop Primary Pupil Council for this year.

All racers will receive a medal (kindly funded by Dunlop Gala team). We will also provide cups of water, a cake and ELF bothy have generously donated bananas for competitors.

There will be various prizes up for grabs, as well as coveted house tokens, organised by Mrs Nouillan and the pupils. The Miller family have kindly provided some bales for a podium to celebrate your achievements at the end!
