I'm running 100 miles to help the American Cancer Society fight for a world without cancer — a cause that means a lot to me personally. Like so many others, I’ve had friends and family whose lives have been deeply affected by cancer, and this is my way of honoring them and contributing to the fight.

I’m a novice runner, and I’ll be logging most of my miles on a treadmill — thanks to a combination of aging knees and the relentless Texas heat! It won’t be easy, but it’s worth every step.
