Hi! For those who may not know me, my name is Sam, I’m an 18 year old in my freshman year of college. I like to be outside, play sports, practice photography, listen to music, and much more. Feel free to check out some of the photos of these things below!

Throughout the month of October, I will be running 100 miles to help the American Cancer Society fight for a world without cancer. Here’s why:
1. 100% of the funds I raise during this will go directly to the American Cancer Society.
2. I’m currently a college student with the hopes to enter the Air Force upon graduation to serve my country. To do this, one of the many steps are physical fitness tests that have a heavy focus on running, so this will help motivate me to go out and run for a great cause, benefiting both myself and the American Cancer Society.
3. Unfortunately, Cancer claims the lives of many. I’ve experienced quite a few losses personally because of Cancer and this is my way of standing up against cancer and contributing to help reduce the amount of lives lost to Cancer.
Will this be difficult for me? Absolutely, especially as a full-time college student as I will be running about 3 miles a day on average at least. However, I want to not only push myself to see what I can achieve in a month but also help others simultaneously. I also plan to provide updates throughout the month and keep you updated on my progress. If you are able to in any way, please consider donating to the cause and help put a stop to Cancer. Every little bit helps and I cannot thank you enough in advance. Even if you cannot donate, simply sending this to others for more outreach would help too! Thank you so much for your generosity and for helping me to support the American Cancer Society! Let’s get to work
