Rumi's Breast Cancer Support Fund
Donation protected
Rumi was diagnosed in October with breast cancer. It was a shock compounded by another hardship, her mother's bout with Alzheimer's. Rumi was busy taking care of her mom when she found a lump on her breast.
She was fortunate to discover it early on, but will have to undergo a lumpectomy and radiation treatment. She works hard to help support herself and her family but needs assistance for her operation, treatment, and recovery. Rumi is facing high out of pocket costs before her costly insurance plan kicks in.
Rumi's enthusiastic spirit always lightens and lifts up those around her. Whether through her work as a waitress in multiple popular restaurants, through her multiple music projects where she plays numerous instruments, or if you've seen her on the trails or on the mountain with her enormous furry counterpart, Kenobi, you know she is a friendly, fun loving, and inspirational force to be reckoned with.
Let's celebrate and support her triumphant push through this. You can also support her at the Oppa'i Fest benefit show against breast cancer. Her band will be playing and there will be a silent auction!
