I am Mark, owner of Rum Truffle the yacht wrecked when entering Bahia del Sol, El Salvador, under the instructions and guidance of the paid pilot.

The conditions were good but the outcome was a grounding leading to total loss.

Once wrecked, despite the assurances of the local authority, Rum Truffle was stripped bare.

There is no cover from insurance for the personal effects or travel and subsistence.
