hi my name is david driscoll and i am staring this fundraiser for my mom grace scicluna on wednesday 9/28/22 my moms little dog rugrat was pulled under our fence into the neigbors backyard by a large german shepard and another large dog and was visciously mauled by these dogs she has sustained multiple injuries we were ablee to rush her lifeless bleeding little body to the emergency vet 40 mins away were she was stabalized enough to wait for me to transfer her to oakland veternarian services hospital in bloomfield hills were she has undergone her first of many surgerys the 2 dogs both damaged her so bad to the point were her intestines were pushed ontop of her spine were they ripped her skin from the muscle multiple punture wound with intestines protruding her back is broken which will have to have another surgery her jaw is fractured and will need surgery also we had to pay 16000 dollars for this first surgery upfront but will cost a total of 24000 dollars by the end of her stay there before she can have her jaw fixed she then has to have a mri and backsurgery at dogwood hospital they estimated 9000 dollars for this procedure not to mention the 3000 we have spent even before any of this at the first emergency vet we have maxed out every credit card we have and im mortgaging my house to pay for this the owners of these dogs are not being held responsible for what has happened and threatened to kill my mother and there trying to sue us saying my mom threatened his wife as she held her lifless dog bleeding in her hands these people are complete scum i contacted a lawyer who is reviewing everythig and will be providing me a estimate to try and file a civil suit against these people which is going to be very costly also by the end of this tragedy we will be well over 40,000 dollars to save this dog this was my fathers dog who recently passed away march 7 of 2020 and shes all i have left of him something he loved so much and loved him my mom has been through so much stress and suffering she herself is in poor health with distolic heart failure if anyone can help us at all so we can save her baby and make these people pay for what there dangerous dogs have done would be greatly appreciated as this is financially ruining us but you cant out a price on love and shes a fighter she has made it through the first abdominal surgery to fix her intestines but still has a very long road to go before she can come home please pray for our littl baby rugrat thanks to all who helps your our only angels at the moment
