Ruger’s life saving tumor removal surgery

My name is Amanda and I’m an animal lover. I have helped at shelters and fostered a few cats/kittens over the years. I currently have 5 cats of my own who are all very loved.

My brown tabby named Ruger has a large mass growing on the back of his front leg. The mass needs to be removed, so his leg must be removed as well. I don’t have the money since this year I have been having trouble working. I have a long list of neck problems which I’m seeing multiple doctors for.

Ruger is only 4 and had a hard start at life; he was abused and neglected. He was stuck in a very small cage with 4 other kittens. The cage was probably 1’x2’ big. It was very sad and he is still changed and skittish from this treatment, but he is happy.

I know this is a big ask and I don’t know if anyone cares, but I’m heartbroken that he is suffering and sick. He deserves a chance at a long life. He is a sweet boy and truly deserves a chance. That’s all I’m asking for, for him. I can never undo what was done to him as a kitten, but I’m praying I can give him a long life with love and comfort. Without this help, I will have to make a very difficult decision at some point, for I will not have him suffer.
