Rugby’s Surgery

Rugby was found in a ditch, in the middle of nowhere, in the middle of the night at about 4weeks old, thrown away. Some wonderful people rescued him & chose me to be his caretaker. Our family fell deeply in-love with him from day one. He has lived an amazing adventure of a life traveling far & wide & having many dogs to call his family & pack members. He has been through some serious challenges in his life including a questionable poisoning when he was very young, a serious tear to his cruciate ligament in his right knee about 3 years ago & inexplicable nerve inflammatory condition in his jaw, most recently. Happily, he has gotten through everything then recently suffered a severe tear to his cruciate ligament in his left knee. Unfortunately, we could do nothing until the medications for the inflammatory condition were complete. He has been in extreme pain, but the surgery is scheduled for November 14th & we need your help. The treatment for his nerve condition as well as the orthopaedic surgery are extremely expensive, as all you animal lovers well know. But we would do anything for this precious soul. Unfortunately, it’s out of reach for us at this point in time. We would prefer to never ask for anything from all of our hard working friends & family if we had the means to take care of it ourselves. But we do need some help. Rugby needs to regain his health & happiness for a long, joyous life ahead.
