Hey everyone, this fundraiser is for rufus' surgery. We were camping the past few days and day 2 into it we realized Rufus in quiet a bit of discomfort. Knowing our nosy dog we though maybe he got into something he shouldn't have and we were quiet worried. Eric rushed him to the emergency only to find out with was way worse than we thought. And he had been said to have GDV which is unfortunately common in big dogs. The two options were euthanized or the surgery.

If you know me you know how much this dog has helped me. The day I got him was the day I started my path to feel and get better with my, what now I know is severe C-PTSD. I was sick Rufus was by my side, I was depressed or unable to perform Rufus was there to comfort and protect. He's a part of my family, and my husband knew I couldn't say goodbye just yet. We all know all good dogs go to heaven but he's not ready yet. He's still got many a sticks to fetch and collect. More pup cups to suck up and many more adventures with our family. Then I'll happily say goodbye. But it wasn't the time.

I'm coming to my social media and community to see if I can help pay this heavy bill that has been dropped onto our family. But it was not honestly something I was willing to budge on. If you've had a pet you know they become a part of your life and family. Each and everyone of my family members I'd be willing to walk through fire for and by any means help them. And Rufus is no different. I hope you can find it in your heart and affordability to offer up whatever you can. I will be so grateful and will pay it forward to the best of my abilities for the rest of my life.

Funds will help us pay back the hefty vet bills ASAP. With little to no interest.
