Hey you guys, I’m starting this GoFundMe page to raise money for my baby Rufus’ surgical procedures. For those who don’t know, Rufus is my pet shihtzu and I’ve had him since he was 4 months old. He’s 12 going on 13 now and has developed some health issues. Last November, he suffered from a chronic ear infection in his left ear which caused it to swell so bad he couldn’t comfortably open his mouth, this gave him so much pain that he wouldn’t eat or drink. This of course led to him to be very lethargic and weak, but luckily a doctor was able to inject antibiotics to cure the initial swelling. However, the infection caused the tissue leading to his ear canal to harden and close. So there’s no way to get ear medication  to his ear canal so the doctor says the only way to insure that infection won’t happen again is to remove the canal all together . 

Secondly, Rufus has had this mass on his anal area for quite some time. Originally thought it might go away but it ended up getting worse and becoming some what of an open sore and it causes him to spot everywhere he sits. Thankfully, they tested the cells in the mass and it’s benign so they can safely remove it. 

Lastly, they want to neuter him. Doctor says that testosterone could be a leading cause of the anal mass, so if we cut off the source of the hormone, that mass won’t show up anywhere else. 

Attached should be a copy of the consultation bill I had with the doctor so you guys can see the breakdown of the cost. My goal is to try to raise up $2,500 to cover at least half the total cost. Any red cent that anyone wishes to donate towards this cost would mean the world to me. Help me give my baby a better quality of life. ❤️
