የአዋሽ ወንዝ ሞልቶ
The Afar ethnic group is a group indigenous to East Africa, with communities throughout Ethiopia, Eritrea, and Djibouti. Their pastoralist lifestyle and dedication to the cultivation of their ancestral land, however, has made the Afar prone to living in harsh conditions. In Ethiopia, heavy flooding of the Awash River has led to the displacement of more than 49,000 people. The ancestral lifestyle of Afar people that has been carried through generations is now in immense danger as the flooding presents catastrophic damage to crops, properties, and livestock. It is our culture, and further human nature, to support and love your neighbor when you can. Therefore, it is up to us to provide what we can to help save the livelihoods of thousands of people, and prevent the loss of the authentic and precious cultures of the Afar. I humbly ask that you give what you can.

በአዋሽ ወንዝ ዉሃ መሙላት ምክንያት በደርስው አስቃቂ የህይዎት መጥፍትና የንብርት መውደም የተነሳ ባካባቢው በሚኖሩ ክ በላይ የሆኑ አፋር ወገኖቻችን በከባድ ችግር ላይ ስልሚግኙ ለከፍ ቀን ለወገን ደራሺ ወገን ስለሆነ ይህንን ከባድ ሽክም ወደ እናንተ ይዤ ስለቀርብኩ ከጠየቃች ሁት በላይ በመለገስ እንደምትተባብሩ አልጠራጠርም::
በመሆኑም ለነኝሁ ሜዳ ላይ ለቀሩት ወገኖቻችን ከሞላ ጎድል የሚያስፍልጉትን ለመላክ ስልምንፍልግ እርዳታችሁን በት ህትና እንጠይቃለን::
