RUFIO's emergency vet bills

Most have you have been following Rufio recent events. I was debating starting a gofundme to help take down these bills for the four vet visit we have had in less than a month, but here I am.

I first want to thank everyone for all your support and for the people who have already helped out.

Details:

I have been calling and going to his regular vet since June 22nd. First call with vet they just gave me pain meds. Second visit Aug 1st when he was having a real tough time walking and being very picky about eating, I asked for an ultrasound-based on previous experience. His vet said he would have to take a blood test first and wouldn't set me up with an ultrasound visit until after. We did blood tests, and he gave me a different pain med. On Aug 3rd I brought him back because he was way worse, not getting up, not eating. Still no ultrasound from the vet and suggested x-rays. He told me he really didn't see anything himself on X-rays and sent them out to an expert. This was on a Friday. I called every day until I finally got him on Thursday, almost a week later, he said they did, in fact, see something very large in his stomach. From there, I called every vet and ER place to get an ultrasound, the only place that could was Berkley Pet Referrals, so I headed there. At this point, it's been a few days since he ate.

They did the ultrasound finally and around 7 pm. He stayed with them overnight and basically did emergency surgery the next morning after going over all options.

His pet insurance unfortunately only covers 3k per incident, which is seriously ridiculous.

Including my first phone visit for pain meds, his bills have totaled over $10,600

I have decided to try to raise about half of his bills to help me make payments and get this bill down. I know that's a lot to ask for, he is my pet and my responsibility. Anything will help. Thank you all so much.
