Rue's Story

Rue lives in Ventura, CA, and I know her story will touch your heart. She has recently suffered a broken foot, and learned that she will have to go through major treatments and studies for the suspicion of bone cancer and heart disease. Even with pet insurance, everyone who has gone through a similar situation knows that these medical visits are far too expensive. ABOUT RUE ANN:

Rue Bear is a sweet but at times spicy dog that is full of energy and love! She is now ten years old and still acts like she is 2!

Her hobbies include ball, ball, BALLL, more ball, and even after that…more ball!!! Rue has mastered the act of sleeping in and cuddling. Almost to a fault because once she cuddles you, there is no way you’re moving. She will convince you to rub her belly and get in a good snuggle sesh that will leave you with a huge smile on your face!

If you have met Rue you know that she has a personality like no other and has a special way of connecting with people! She is such a special dog and so full of life!
