It is very difficult to admit when you need some help-especially financially. However, there are times when circumstances beyond your control make that necessary. This is one of those times. My husband Michael suffered a small stroke in September, 2014. By the grace of God, he did not experience any lasting physical or mental deficits. However, he did miss several days of work and did not have any paid leave to assist us with bills during that time. It also left us with almost $10,000 in medical bills. In addition, during the process of trying to locate the cause of his stroke, his doctors discovered a brain tumor. They have been monitoring this tumor since then and due to the rapid rate of growth, it has been deemed necessary to have it removed immediately. Not only will this be adding to the medical bill tab, but Michael has been told he must take a minimim of 4 weeks off of work for recovery. Michael's job is our sole source of income, as I am currently staying at home with our newborn. Any help that you can offer us is GREATLY appreciated. However, more than anything, we would appreciate your prayers for a safe and successful surgery and a speedy recovery.
